Woman Attempts To Get With Her Supervisor, He Goes For Her Cousin Instead

The workplace isn't the best place for a romance to blossom. It may sound fun in theory to work with the person you're head over heels for, but in reality, it's a whole hot mess. There's a reason it's frowned upon by HR. Sure, it's not technically illegal, but it's definitely something you could lose your job over. In conclusion, we wouldn't recommend it. Instead, we strongly encourage our Cheezcake readers to look for love elsewhere. We really believe it's not worth getting involved with some at your workplace, unless one of you leaves. Because every single place I've worked (and I'm 40F) has had a policy that would not allow a supervisor to date an employee. My brother got transferred and his fiancé fired because they were dating. It's typically frowned upon. Even when allowed, it can cause favoritism and resentment.

He may have believed you was being friendly, and the circumstances ended up in him being naturally attracted to your cousin, so he pursued what he wanted? Accept it and move on, just stay friendly and professional.
